PRINT RECIPE

Ingredients:

80g soft Butter

1/3 cup packed Brown sugar

2 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Ginger

2 3/4 cups Flour

1 tsp Baking soda

1 tsp Salt

1 Egg

2/3 cup Mossop’s Rewarewa honey

Method:

  1. Cream together Butter, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon and Ginger until smooth and light.
  2. Sift in Flour, Baking soda and Salt.
  3. Mix in Egg and Mossop’s Rewarewa honey.
  4. Mix until dough is coming together.
  5. Wrap dough in baking paper and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  6. Roll out on a floured surface, cut into shapes and place on lightly greased baking tray.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes at 175C.
