A fire won’t stop the Mossop’s!

On the evening of Thursday 11th December 2008, the back of Mossop’s Honey Shoppe in Tauriko caught fire.

The fire gutted the back room of the honey shop and left the retail store and products smoke damaged.

This unexpected interruption to the Mossop’s busiest season was disheartening but was not enough to shut shop. After an exhausting week of cleaning and organising, a temporary shop was set up and opened its doors 7 days after the incident.

On the 7th of November 2009 the Mossop team was pleased to open the doors of the new and upgraded shop. The new spacious shop now offers a larger Bee Room and a wider range of gifts and skin care.

The Mossop’s crew have appreciated and are very thankful for the wonderful support they received from customers and friends.
