Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk + extra 1/2 cup
1/2 cup Mossop’s Field & Tawari honey
1 egg
2 Tbsp custard powder
1 Tbsp white sugar
Vanilla essence to taste
Method:
- Bring the milk and honey to the boil
- In a medium bowl whisk the egg well. Add extra milk and whisk again
- Add custard powder, sugar and vanilla essence to the egg mixture
- Add to the boiling milk and whisk until it thickens
