A healthy, crunchy snack for all occasions.
Ingredients:
250g Butter
2 cups Flour
½ cup Mossop’s Field & Tawari Honey
3 cups Untoasted Muesli
½ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Wheatgerm
Handful of Peanuts
½ cup Coconut
Chopped, dried apricots and dates (optional)
Method:
- Melt butter, honey and brown sugar together.
- Mix in a large bowl the flour, muesli, wheatgerm, coconut, peanuts and dried fruit.
- Mix with melted honey mixture.
- Press into greased, swiss roll tin or lamington tray.
- Bake in slow to moderate oven for 30 minutes.
- When cool, spread with melted chocolate if desired. Cut
